PORTLAND (AP) — More seasonable weather is in store for Mainers who got a taste of spring in December.

Meteorologist Margaret Curtis from the National Weather Service says cooler weather is on tap starting today, with highs in the 20s and 30s for much of the state this week.

Bangor hit 54 on Christmas Day, breaking the old record of 51 degrees set in 2003. Highs of 53 in Portland and 48 to the north in Caribou tied previous Christmas Day records.
