HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) — Ousmane Drame scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Quinnipiac used a fast start to the second half to run away from Maine for an 81-64 victory and a third-straight win Monday night.
The Bobcats got to the basket for a handful of layups and a Drame dunk during a 20-6 run that ballooned Quinnipiac’s three-point halftime lead into a 53-36 advantage.
The Black Bears (1-11) were led by the 19 points of Till Gloger. Shaun Lawton added 11 points. Maine was just 24 of 62 from the field (38.7 percent), including 9 of 23 from distance.
