LYMAN — Monique Bouchard, 87, of Lyman and formerly of Biddeford, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 at her home.

She was born July 16, 1927 in Biddeford, a daughter of Hermas and Maria (Houle) Neault, and was educated at St. Andre’s School.

On July 31, 1971, she married Norman Bouchard in Biddeford.

Monique worked at Allied Shoe in Saco for seven years and at the Maremont Corp. from 1966 until she retired in 1972.

She enjoyed hand crafts and flower gardening, but mostly she loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She had been a member of St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.

Preceding her in death were: a daughter, Patricia Clark, in 1983; her husband, Norman Bouchard, in 2004; and a sister, Martha Ruel, in 2007.

Monique is survived by: a daughter, Rosemary Boissonneault and her husband Jean Paul of Lyman; a stepdaughter, Victoria Boissonneault and her husband Richard of Wakefield, New Hampshire; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005, followed at 12:30 p.m. by a service at the funeral home.
