TURNER — The Leavitt High School girls jayvee basketball team outscored Morse 10-8 in the fourth quarter for a 39- 37 victory on Saturday.
The Shipbuilders led 14-9 and 21-19 at the first two quarter breaks, but the Hornets pulled into a 29-29 deadlock through three.
Sierra Wallace had a game-high 17 points for Morse, which hosts Spruce Mountain tonight. Marissa Parks added five points, with Emma Gould and Alizhay Gagnon chipping in four points apiece.
Leavitt’s Abby Robertson picked up 13 points, with Molly McCommick adding 10.
Morse was 5-for-14 at the line, with the Hornets finishing 11-of-22.
