HALLOWELL — The line of Jared Parent, Jacob McGowan and TJ Sullivan combined on eight goals and seven assists as the Brunswick High School boys ice hockey team downed Cony/Monmouth, 9-6, in an Eastern Maine Class A contest at the Bank of America Ice Vault on Tuesday.
McGowan had three goals and four assists, Sullivan two goals and three helpers, and Parent a hat trick as the Dragons improved to 5-1 and hosts Poland/Gray-New Gloucester on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Matthew Deveaux added an assist and Dylan Towle scored a goal.
Leading 5-4 late in the second period, Brunswick tallied four goals over a four-minute stretch to take control as the Dragons scored eight goals in the second period.
Spencer Buck led the Rams with one goal and two assists, with Cody Pelletier adding a pair of goals and Dakota Benson two helpers.
