CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Justin Anderson hit back-to-back 3-pointers to fuel a 12-3 run in the second half and No. 3 Virginia pulled away to beat stubborn Davison 83-72 on Tuesday night.
Anthony Gill led the Cavaliers (12-0) with a careerhigh 25 points and 13 rebounds. The Wildcats also got 20 from Tyler Kalinoski and 14 from Brian Sullivan.
No. 5 Louisville 63, Long Beach State 48
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Terry Rozier scored 23 points, Montrezl Harrell added 16 and Louisville beat Long Beach State.
Rozier led the way with 7-of- 14 shooting, seven rebounds and three assists for the Cardinals, who shot 51 percent and forced 19 turnovers.
