WESTCHESTER, N.Y. — Tim Frazier scored on a putback of a missed layup by Cory Jefferson with just 0.1 second left to lift the Maine Red Claws to a 99-98 win over the Westchester Knicks on Friday afternoon at the Westchester County Center.

Maine pulled ahead 97-96 on a floater by Frazier with 26.3 seconds left, but the Knicks (6-12) regained the lead on a layup by Walker Russell with 7.5 seconds left.

Frazier finished with a season-high 24 points on 10-of-11 shooting from the field. He also had 10 rebounds and six assists.

Christ Watford added 14 points and Chris Babb had 13 for the Red Claws (14-3).

Jefferson recorded a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds).

Jefferson, who is on assignment with Markel Brown from the Brooklyn Nets, was making his D-League debut with the Red Claws.

Maine will host the Delaware 87ers at the Portland Expo at 7 p.m. Saturday.

NOTES: The Red Claws will be the first overall seed in the inaugural Showcase Cup, an eight-team single-elimination tournament that will be played as part of the 2015 NBA D-League Showcase to be held Jan. 15-19 in Santa Cruz, California.
