BRUNSWICK — Julia Champagne led a Brunswick assault with 26 points as the Dragons rolled to a 68-34 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win over Cony in girls high school basketball action on Tuesday.

Champagne added 10 rebounds, seven assists and seven steals, while Madeline Suhr picked up 16 points, four assists, four steals and five blocked shots. Emily Black chipped in eight points.

Brunswick, 4-4 and slated to visit Messalonskee on Thursday (7 p.m.), led 15-4, 41-12 and 55-25 at the quarter breaks.

Catherine Silva paced Cony ( 1- 9) with seven points.

The host Mariners outscored the Shipbuilders 13-6 in the fourth quarter for a come- from- behind KVAC Class B win at Rockland.

Morse, 4-6 and slated to visit Winslow on Friday (6:30 p.m.), trailed 11-6 and 24-19 at the first two quarter breaks, but claimed a 30-29 lead heading to the fourth after a strong third quarter.

Emily Gould paced Oceanside ( 7- 2) with 13 points, with Ashley Gardiner adding nine.

Emma Harrington had a double- double for Morse with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Signe Ostergaard added 11 points.

RICHMOND 16
OOB 40

Old Orchard Beach held Richmond to a season-low in points as the Bobcats had their five- game winning streak snapped in a non-conference matchup.

The Seagulls (5-0) led 11- 4, 17- 10 and 29- 12 at the quarter breaks.

Vanessa Hebert led the way for the victors with 12 points, followed by 11 from Abigail Dubois.

Sydney Tilton picked up 11 points for Richmond, which fell to 5-2 and visits Forest Hills on Friday at 5 p.m.

Lilli Allen and Diamond Brown combined on 40 points as the Phoenix remained unbeaten ( 4- 0) with a Western D win at South Berwick over Seacoast Christian (2-6).

Allen had a game-high 23 points, with Brown adding 17.

Hyde is slated to host Valley on Thursday at 5 p.m.
