ROCKLAND — After a 28-28 tie heading into the fourth quarter, the Oceanside Phoenix girls jayvee basketball team held Morse to just 4 points, all of which were foul shots, to come out on top 43-32.
Marissa Parks led all scorers with 11 points, while Emma Gould and Isabella Monbouquette followed with eight and six points each. Elise Lasavie and Alexis Mazeurk collected 10 points for the Phoenix, with Kayler McCorrison adding seven.
The Shipbuilders were 6-for-16 at the line against Oceanside’s 9-for-15 performance at the charity stripe.
With the lose Morse evens its record at 5-5 and will play again on Friday at Winslow.
