BIDDEFORD — Ever After Mustang Rescue has received a $15,000 grant from the Gwendolyn Elwell Flanagan Foundation to be matched by its supporters by March 1. The non-profit horse rescue facility wants its supporters to release this information to their friends, families, email contacts, etc.
All of the money raised will be used for its new barn campaign, with construction of the barn expected to begin in the summer of 2015. To view building plans, visit Ever After Mustang Rescue’s website at www.mustangrescue.org.
If 15,000 people contribute just $1, the goal will be met.
Donations can be made directly to Ever After Mustang Rescue at 463 West St., Biddeford, ME 04005, or via PayPal on www.mustangrescue.org.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
