KENNEBUNK — A 27 year-old local man is facing additional heroin trafficking charges, after police and drug agents were able to identify him as the alleged supplier of the drug to three people who overdosed in separate incidents.
The three people who overdosed survived, through the use of a heroin antidote called Narcan, but were hospitalized, according to Kennebunk Deputy Police Chief Daniel Jones.
Christopher Robart, of 41 York St., was originally arrested Dec. 17 and charged with one count of aggravated trafficking in heroin and was ordered held at York County Jail on $25,000 cash bail, and on probation violation charges. Kennebunk Police and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency investigators continued their probe, and Jones on Tuesday said Robart had been charged with two additional counts of aggravated trafficking in heroin. Jones said bail on the new charges was set at $50,000.
