WATERBORO — Donald S. Johnson Sr. of North Waterboro passed away on Jan. 22, 2015 at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Scarborough.
He was born on June 6, 1933 in Saco, the son of Harley and Gertrude Smith Johnson.
Donald attended local schools and served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict.
Donald was a truck driver for many years, working for Searway Ford and George Roberts.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his great granddaughter, Kaylee, and granddaughters ,Crystal and Kelsea.
He is preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Casey Johnson, in 1997.
He is survived by: his sons, Charlie Casey of Arundel, Douglas Copley of Arizona, Robert Copley of Waterboro, Donald Johnson Jr. of North Waterboro, and Timmy Johnson of Lebanon; his daughter, Tammy Plamondon of Sanford; a sister, Natalie Johnson of Connecticut; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main Street, Saco is in charge of the arrangements.
