SACO — Claudette T. Covelluzzi, 81, of Saco, passed away early Wednesday morning on Jan. 21, 2015, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.
She was born in Biddeford on April 20, 1933, a daughter of Alfred and Germaine (Hebert) Lamirande. She was educated in Saco schools.
She was employed in the restaurant business for many years.
She was an avid reader.
Mrs. Covelluzzi was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Parish in Saco.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Anthony Covelluzzi; one brother, Conrad Lamirande; and by four sisters Paulette Mullens, Irma Buckalew, Reinette Wheeler and Madeleine Kenney.
She is survived by: one daughter, Michelle Covelluzzi of Dubois, Wyoming; one brother, Ralph Lamirande; three sisters, Yolanda Chmelowski, Marcelle Rehlander, Suzanne Barriault; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held in the spring at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Biddeford.
