LEWISTON — The Brunswick High School girls jayvee Orange basketball team took a 17-6 first-quarter lead and built on it the rest of the way, coming out with a 55-32 victory over the Lewiston Blue Devils on Friday.
Aidan Sachs led the floor with 12 points, while Maddie Brescia, Alicia Armstrong, Margaret Dickinson and Allie Eck combined for 30 points. Ketura Stinson, Brooke Barter and Heather Kinee were noted for strong defensive play, limiting the Blue Devils to just two free throws in the third quarter.
Barter collected six steals and six assists on the night.
