Reading the article on Fort Andross was very interesting. All the different names it has had. There is only one name that fits it. It’s Cabot Mill. The name is right on it. It should not have any other. It may have been used for different things during it’s life time. It’s time to give it back the name that’s on it’s tower. Brunswick has gone through so many changes it’s not funny. Buildings torn down for “progress” is for the birds. This town has so much to offer. Why do we have to modernize it? Do we have to keep up with the “Joneses”? Instead of tearing buildings up, fix them. Don’t wait until they fall apart. The Old Town Hall, Brunswick High, the traffic circle on top of the hill. Tearing down the pine tree there, for what? It could have stayed there during the construction. All this town does is spend, spend, spend. For once lets try to keep this town an old town. Maine Street is nothing but restaurants. Where have all the nice businesses gone? Sometimes progress stinks.
