GORHAM — Senior Peyton Dostie and junior Nicole Kirk combined to win five events as the University of Southern Maine women’s indoor track and field team finished first among the 10 teams competing at the USM Invitational II on Saturday at the Costello Sports Complex.
The Huskies combined to score 177.50 points to take the top spot. Bates College was runner-up with 154, followed by Colby College with 88.50 and Assumption College with 86.50.
Liz O’Neal of Brunswick finished fourth for USM in the 55-meter hurdles in 9.19, while Jasmine Boyle, also of Brunswick, was fourth in the 5,000 in 20:56.28.
