She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Shorey Sr., who has been waiting there for her since 1996.
Frances was born and raised in Bath. The daughter of Frank and Belle (Morse) Seavey. She was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Bath.
She is survived by her children, Jean Shorey of Brunswick, Joyce Burr of Damariscotta, John Shorey Jr. of Newburyport, MA, and Frank Shorey of Fountain Inn, SC, as well as seven granddaughters and nine great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, from 1 to 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Washington Street, Bath. A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. at the church.
