SACO — Irene M. Poole died peacefully on Jan. 31, 2015 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. Irene lived in Saco.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Linda Mailhot, of Old Orchard Beach.
Irene was an avid crafter and loved making blankets and handi-crafts for her friends and family.
She loved animals and playing the penny slots in her free time.
Irene was active in her church and will miss the ministry there. She always had a positive mental attitude and a joke at every turn.
She is also survived by: sons, Dale Ferguson of Portland, and Henry Ramsey of Portland; and several grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Anchor Baptist Church in Biddeford.
