BATH — Seventeen points in the third quarter was more than enough to help the Morse High School jayvee girls basketball team find a 45- 36 victory over Oceanside in recent action.
After trailing by one at the half, the Shipbuilders took a 33-23 lead after three, before capturing the win.
Sierra Wallace paced Morse with a game-high 17 points, with teammate Marissa Parks adding 12. Hope Faulkingham and Kelsea Albertson contributed seven and five points respectively.
Gabby Simmons led the Mariners with 12 points, while Haley Montgomery added 10.
The Shipbuilders were 17- for-28 at the line, with the Mariners taking the edge 17- for-23. Morse concludes its season with a 9-8 record.
