I am in disbelief that a 69 year old could be snowbound for 10 days. I do not expect the Public Works Department to shovel every one out. They have enough to do to keep the city roads clear!
Perhaps there is a way for a list to be kept somewhere of people who do need help and maybe a list of volunteers who would be willing to help. Perhaps it could be a High School or Bowdoin project. Just a suggestion.
