BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade boys basketball team downed Mt. Ararat in double overtime, 44-43, recently.
The Huskies led by 11 points in the fourth quarter, but the Eagles rallied and tied it at the buzzer.
Nate Girardin had a clutch 3- pointer for Brunswick to give the Huskies the lead for good. Sam Sharpe had 13 points. Hunter Backhaus dropped 11 and Aidan Grovernine in the win.
Ben Freeman and Austin Day were solid for Mt. Ararat.
