The York County CareerCenter in Springvale continues its workshop programs for job seekers and those considering training to upgrade their skills and increase their employability.

CareerCenters can assist businesses by offering workshops on location, at local businesses or other organizations at no cost. The following workshops and programs will be held at the CareerCenter in Springvale unless otherwise noted.

Ӣ Feb. 17, Interview Workshop, 9 a.m. to noon. Learn new interviewing techniques by role playing interviews. Registration required.

Ӣ Feb. 23, Gateways to Employment, 9 a.m. to Noon. Learn how assessments can identify abilities, interests and skills and discover the unadvertised job market. Other topics include Job Search Strategies, Resumes, Cover Letter Tips and Interviewing. Registration Required.

Ӣ Feb. 24, Mini Job Fair, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Representatives from Creative Work Systems, Home Care for Maine, Arcadia, Great Bay Services, and Support Solutions will be recruiting for openings within their organizations.. No appointment required. For more information, call 324-5460 or 800-343-0151.

”¢ March 27, The 5th Annual York County Regional Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nasson Community Center. Speak with hiring employers; talk with career counselors and veteran’s representatives.
