SANFORD — Mary A. Rodrigue, 77, of Sanford, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Greenwood Nursing Home in Sanford, where she had been a resident for the past year and a half.
She was born in Alaska on Feb. 28, 1937, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Muller) Wheeler.
Mary is preceded in death by: two infant sons, David and Kevin Rodrigue.
Mary is survived by: her husband of 52 years, Edward B. Rodrigue Sr.; son, Edward B. Rodrigue Jr. and his wife Coline, with their two daughters, Chelsea and Brianna Rodrigue; son, Gary Rodrigue and his wife and daughter, Carmen and Ashley Rodrigue; her daughter, Mariellle Rodrigue; and a step-daughter, Tracy Zickefoose. Mary also has many family members back in her home state of Alaska.
Graveside services will be scheduled later this spring at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale.
