BIDDEFORD — Ricky Ruck, Zack Thompson and Joe Anders each scored two goals apiece as Biddeford ended its regula season with a 9-3 victory over Portland/Deering in a Western Maine Class A boys hockey game at Biddeford Ice Arena Thursday night.
Logan Magnant, Curtis Petit and Joey Curit also scored for the Tigers (10-6-2).
Dominic Tocci scored two goals and also had an assist for the Bulldogs (7-11).
Biddeford earned the No. 5 seed in the Western Maine Class A tournament, and will face No. 4 Scarborough in the quarterfinal round next week. The Tigers went 1-0-1 against the Red Storm this season.
Portland/Deering earned the eighth and final spot in the tournament, and the Bulldogs will face top-seeded Falmouth in the quarterfinals.
