BRUNSWICK — Edward E. Sewall died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at Maine Medical Hospital in Portland after complications from surgery at the age of 56. He was born in Brunswick on April 12, 1958, the son of Frances L. Courson and Thomas A. Sewall. He attended Brunswick schools in which he graduated.

As a boy he loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, swimming, and playing guitar with family. He enjoyed reading and was bit of a history buff. On March 16, 1980, he married Pamela A. Catlin from which raised their two children. Edward and Pamela renewed their vows in 2004 after a cancer scare.

Edward worked many years as part owner and operator of the familyowned business (Brunswick’s) ABC Taxi, local restaurants, Brunswick Golf Corse, and Wiscasset Ford. He loved spending time with family, riding his motorcycle, walking

Popham Beach, and helping in the gardens.

Edward E. Sewall was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Kathy Allen, and brothers Thomas R. and John D. Sewall.

Edward E. Sewall is survived by his wife Pamela, son Edward T.C., his wife Karen (Cash) Sewall, and their son Edward T. Sewall of Lisbon. His daughter Heather R. (Sewall) Giggey, her son and daughter Tyler L. Giggey, and Haley L. Sewall of Bath. Sisters Sandra L., husband John Brawn of Bowdoin, Dorothy M., husband Thomas McGehee of Virginia. Brothers Steven W., wife Donna Sewall of Bowdoinham, Charle W., wife Cindy Sewall of Alna , and 12 nieces and nephews.

Upon request there will be no service. A private ceremony will be held at Maquoit Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, or the Coastal Humane Society of Brunswick.
