SACO ”“ Polly Notis, of Saco, passed away on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 in Saco at the age of 92.
Born in North Carolina, she spent all of her adult life in Maine and wintered in Bradenton, Florida at her home in Mt. Vernon. She graduated from Thornton Academy.
Polly is survived by: her husband, of 74 years, John Notis of Glenhaven Circle in Saco; her son, Andrew Notis and his wife Diana of Republic, Washington; her daughter, Joan Vasilopoulos and her husband Costas of Plymouth, Massachusetts; her granddaughters, Elana Vasilopoulos Whelan, Sarah Notis Boyd, and Katie Notis Fowley; and great-grandchildren, Nolan Whelan, Kiley Whelan, Kenny Boyd and Gracie Boyd.
She loved spending time with her family, gardening, reading, cooking and did volunteer work at Southern Maine Medical Center. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She will be missed by all.
