Dana Johnson will speak to the Chronic Pain Support Group of Southern Maine about food, nutrition and exercise for chronic pain on Thursday, March 5 from 6-7:30 p.m. at The Pines Retirement Community in Ocean Park, in the hospitality room at the Pinewood Manor building. Johnson is a certified health coach. She owns and operates the Biddeford Saco Bootcamp, an exercise program that takes place on the beach in Biddeford. For her talk to the Chronic Pain Support Group, Johnson will bring a juicer and will discuss how juices can be helpful for patients with inflammation. The Chronic Pain Support Group of Southern Maine meets twice a month to help support and educate those suffering from a wide variety of chronic pain conditions. It is open to the public.
