WESTBROOK — June C. Morin, 90, a lifelong resident of Westbrook, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at her residence after a short illness.

She was born in Westbrook, the daughter of Alfred and Yvonne (Landry) Caron.

June worked for LeBlanc & Bullerwell, Herbert’s Dress Shop, Mutual Benefit Life, and in the guidance department at Westbrook High School.

June loved playing cards, going to the beach, camping in their Ace Trailer, and in her younger years she enjoyed knitting and sewing, and making many Halloween costumes for her family. She also enjoyed gardening. June’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, A. Raymond Morin; and a brother, Ronald Caron.

June is survived by: her son, Richard A. Morin and his wife Marie of Kennebunk; a daughter, Ann C. Morin of Winthrop; a brother, Roland “Choc” Caron and his wife Dorothy of Westbrook; a sister-in-law, Joan Caron; grandchildren, Jason, Daniel and wife Emily, Andrew Morin, Leslie Nelson and husband Jeff, and Lynne Bourassa and her fiancé Anthony Bittues; and great-grandchildren, Cooper and Avery Nelson, Tyler and Dylan Morin, and Hannah Dente.

Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in the spring.
