OLD ORCHARD BEACH — A burglary on Massachusetts Avenue in Ocean Park was reported this week to police.
The alleged burglar reportedly forced entry into the home and took several electronic items, according to a community email alert form Police Chief Dana Kelley.
“Although there is no cause for alarm, we are asking residents throughout our community, more specifically Ocean Park, to be alert and report anything suspicious or unusual by calling 911,” said Kelley. “Keep in mind that activity which may seem normal (service van or sales vehicle) may be considered suspicious in nature.”
At this time, a possible suspect vehicle has been described as a silver or gray Chevrolet TrailBlazer, possibly with a pink breast cancer awareness plate with an unknown number, said Kelley.
