The four finalists for the Travis Roy Award, given to the top senior Class A boys hockey player in the state, were announced Monday by the Class A Hockey Coaches Association.
The two finalists from Western Maine are Falmouth’s Isac Nordstrom and South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete’s Andrew Whipple. Saint Dominic Academy’s Brad Berube and Lawrence/Skowhegan’s Cody Martin are the two finalists from Eastern Maine.
Whipple and Martin are both looking to become the first winners of the award from their respective schools.
Biddeford’s Brandon Daigle and Noble/Wells’ Dean Pratt were two of the eight semifinalists for the award.
The winner will be announced at the All State Banquet on Sunday, March 15 at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston at noon. The banquet will include the announcement of All State selections.
