If ever there was a winter to test the abilities and resources of Brunswick’s Public Works Department, this has been it. The Department has come through one of the toughest winters in history with flying colors. It has demonstrated its professionalism and dedication time and time again, keeping our roads clear of snow and ice and working round the clock if necessary to do so. We are fortunate to have such a great team working for us and they deserve a huge thank you from the entire community.
The same can be said for Pine Tree Waste, the town’s recycling contractor. They have been out on the job irrespective of the weather conditions and, to my knowledge, have not missed a day. Again, a huge thank you is in order.
So, thank you to both Public Works and Pine Tree Waste for the great job that you do!

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way.
