BIDDEFORD — Steven Robert Janelle, 59, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday March 4, 2015.

He was born March 19, 1955 and was 15 days short of his 60th birthday; he was the son of the late Robert A. and Theresa (Lizotte) Janelle.

He was educated in Lawrence, Massachusetts and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1972. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy and served proudly for two years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed watching TV and eating ice cream.

He is survived by: his sons, Jason Janelle and Christopher Janelle and his fiancée Tristeena Allen, all of Haverhill, Massachusetts; two granddaughters, Savannah and Ellyana; sisters, Constance Bufagna of Lawrence, Massachusetts, Carol Morasse and her husband Roland of Salem, New Hampshire, and Sandra Janelle and John Collins of Methuen, Massachusetts; brothers, Ronald Janelle and his wife Marianne, David, Marc, and Richard, all of Lawrence, Massachusetts, James Janelle and his wife Cindi of Haverhill, Massachusetts, and Glenn Janelle and his wife Lisa of Plaistow, New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to his sister Connie for the love and care toward Steven over the past years.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian burial on March 19 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 178 Elm St., Biddeford, Maine at 11 a.m. Burial will take place later in the spring at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
