DAYTON — A 20-year-old Springvale man allegedly electrically shocked another man with a stun gun eight to 10 times in the face and shoulder at a home in this community early Monday.

State police said the victim suffered multiple lacerations and that suspect Chase Hasty also struck him in the face with the stun gun. Hasty is charged with aggravated assault, a Class B felony carrying a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

Bail was set at $500. A corrections officer at York County Jail this morning said Hasty had been released.

He is scheduled to appear at York County Superior Court April 30.
