SHENANDOAH, Texas — Five members of the Bowdoin College women’s swimming and diving team are set to compete at the 2015 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championship hosted at the Conroe Natatorium beginning today.
First-year Mariah Rawding will be competing in three individual events (50 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke), while Bowdoin is scheduled to enter four relay teams — the 200 medley (Lela Garner, Rawding, Sophia Walker, Patty Boyer), the 200 freestyle (Rawding, Boyer, Bridget Killian, Walker), the 400 medley relay (Rawding, Walker, Garner, Killian) and the 400 freestyle (Killian, Rawding, Garner, Walker).
Rawding will compete today in the 50 free, with the 200 medley relay hitting the pool today as well. On Thursday, the 200 free and 400 medley relays compete, while Rawding is back in the pool on Friday (100 breaststroke) and Saturday (200 breast).
Trials begin at 11 a.m. (EST) each day. If qualified, finals will begin at 7 p.m.
