FAIRFIELD — Kennebec Valley Community College has released its dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying 9 credit hours or more for the semester. Several Mid-coast students earned the distinction: Maxwell W. Negley, of Bowdoin; Kelsey U. Enman and Robert T. Greenwell, both of Brunswick; Abigial A. Smith, of Durham; Rachel G. Krummel, of Harpswell; Joshua M. Goslin, of Lisbon Falls; and Jason J. Cooney, of Westport Island.
Maggie Meixell of Westport, a classical studies major, and Elizabeth Gwilym, a neuroscience major from Freeport, were both named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y.
MANCHESTER, N.H.— The following Mid-coast students have been named to the president’s list and the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester. To be eligible, a student must compile an academic grade point average of 3.7-4.0 or 3.5-3.69, respectively.
President’s List: Jamie Emerson of Bath; Silas Flewelling of Bowdoin; Eliana Ambor-Skvaric, Cynthia Dilling, Matthew Engstrom, Joanne Fielding, Holly Major, Angela Nixon and Davielle Rodgers, all of Brunswick; Erika Young of Harpswell; Christine Wall-Lacombe of Lisbon; and Danielle Luedee and Ashley Woodworth, both of Topsham.
Dean’s List: Melissa Bickford, Chantelle Hughes and Kate Pope, all of Brunswick; John Ragucci of Topsham; and Zachary MacDonald and Theresa St. Pierre, both of Wiscasset.
Zachery J. Shaw, a 2011 graduate of Morse High School and son of Jason Shaw of Woolwich, was named to the dean’s list of the College of Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston during the fall 2014 semester.
Emily J. Casler of Brunswick has been accepted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Membership is by invitation only for first- and second-year college students, and is based on GPA and class standing. Casler, the daughter of Shelley Murphy of Brunswick, is a student at Kaplan University.
