BIDDEFORD — On Friday, April 3, 2015, Robert A. Houle, 75, of Biddeford, was called to be with his beloved wife Jeannine, who died less than six months ago.
He was born May 19, 1939 in Thetford Mines, Quebec, Canada, and was educated there.
In 1969, he and Jeannine married at St. Noel Church in Thetford Mines and subsequently moved to Maine. Robert had a love for cars and had quite a collection of model ones.
Robert is survived by: a son, Denis and his wife Lara; daughters, Diane Janelle and husband Shane, and Louisette Hunter and husband Daricus; grandchildren, Camryn and Brayden Houle, Miranda, Tyler, Cheyenne and Kaleb Janelle, Travis Patterson, and Olivia Hunter, all of Biddeford; a sister, Denise and husband Claude Lacasse of Fort Pierce, Florida; brother, Clement and wife Nicole Houle of Bradford, Massachusetts; sister, Colette and Jean Demers of Salem, New Hampshire; brother, Alain Houle and companion Charlotte Gallagher of Salem, New Hampshire; and sister, Lucy and Husband James Marqueson of Lake Wales, Florida.
Visiting hours will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. during the evening visitation.
Graveside services will take place on Wednesday at noon at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
