Katherine Connelly of Brunswick; Katherine West of Durham; Danielle Morency of Freeport; and Charlotte Crosby and Pann Nwe, both of Topsham, were all named to the 2014 fall semester dean’s list at Simmons College in Boston.

Colby Gail, a member of the women’s indoor track and field team at Bates College in Lewiston, received New England Small College Athletic Conference All-Academic distinction for the winter 2015 season. To receive NESCAC All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35. Gail, the daughter of Dr. Aubrey C. Gail and Ms. Elizabeth E. Baldwin of Topsham, is a 2011 graduate of Mount Ararat High School. She majors in rhetoric and American cultural studies.

Alan M. Brown of Freeport, and Anna E. Rohman and Caroline C. Tufts, both of Topsham, were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.

Kelly Bridges of Brunswick, a sophomore majoring in healthcare management and advocacy, has been named to the Provost List for the fall 2014 semester at Southern Vermont College in Bennington, Vermont. While attending SVC, she has been a member of the women’s soccer team and a Campus Ambassador. She is a graduate of Brunswick High School and the daughter of Debbie and Sid Bridges of Brunswick.

Autumn Becker of Topsham, Jennifer Burgess of Brunswick, Sydne Campbell of Bath, and Thomas Dodge and Emily Monahan Morang, both of Freeport, were all named to the fall 2014 semester dean’s list at Emmanuel College in Boston. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16- credit semester to make the list.

Shannon Rice of Bath earned dean’s list honors for the 2014 fall semester at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is a junior, majoring in Civil Engineering.

Eric Trautman-Mosher, a Bath native and senior history major in the School of Humanities and Sciences at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society, on Feb. 23.

Madigan Behrens Kay, a first-year student at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester. A graduate of Brunswick High School, she is the daughter of Ronald and Barbara Kay of Brunswick.

Meghan McGuire of Brunswick was named to Denison University’s 2014 fall semester dean’s list. Students who achieve dean’s list status have maintained a grade point average of 3.7 or better (out of 4.0) for the semester. McGuire is a sophomore at the Granville, Ohio, school.

Lucy Rawson of Bath and Brennan Radulski of Topsham were both named to the fall 2014 semester dean’s list at Wake Forest University in Winston- Salem, North Carolina. Students must maintain a 3.4 grade point average.

Katherine Rushlau of Dresden has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at Emerson College in Boston. Rushlau is majoring in journalism. Students must have a a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

Senior Jennifer Auclair and freshman Kathryn Eldridge, both of Brunswick, were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Senior Kyle Webb of Brunswick has been named to the fall 2014 dean’s list at Loyola University in Balitmore, Maryland. To qualify, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits.

Sophomores Alida D. Farrell and Maxwell B. Maurer, and freshman Emily H. Sturtevant, all of Freeport; and juniors Laurel A. Hurd and Elizabeth A. Muller, and freshman Satchel B. Toole, all of Brunswick, were all named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at St. Lawrence’s University in Canton, New York.

Mikaela Gillis of Freeport and Kayla McLellan of Topsham were both named to the dean’s list at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. Students must achieve a 3.25 GPA to make the list.

The University of Wyoming lists Lindy Mae McCallum of Pownal on the 2014 fall semester provost’s honor roll. Students need a 3.5 GPA to make the list.

Ryan J. Smith of Topsham has been named to the dean’s list for the 2014 fall semester at Boston University. Students need a 3.5 GPA to make the list.

Chantalle Desjardins and Daniel Purinton, both of Topsham, Hannah Hebert of Brunswick, Micaela Mitchell of Bowdoinham and Nathaniel Santeramo of Orr’s Island were all named to the fall 2014 dean’s list at Saint Joseph’s College in Standish.
