
She was born in Portland, ME on May 30, 1951, a daughter of Robert and Madeline Bryant Rowley. She attended Brunswick High School. Following over 40 years of companionship, she married Keith Connors in 2012.
She started working at a very young age to help support her family. After high school, she became employed with Health Tex, and later with L.L. Bean for over 17 years.
She especially enjoyed being at home with her grandchildren around her pool, but was no stranger to road trips up and down the East Coast as a passenger of car or motorcycle. She looked forward to the local Blue Grass festivals in Brunswick, Litchfield, and Fort Fairfield.
She was predeceased by a brother, Gregory Rowley.
She is survived by her husband, Keith R. Connors; two daughters, Dena Smith and her husband Stephen of Topsham, Denise Carlson of Bowdoinham; three sisters, Kathy Byras of Topsham, Karen Leedom of Michigan, Linda Beaulieu of Connecticut; two grandchildren, Burton Packard and Riley Smith of Topsham.
A celebration of Jan’s life will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick, ME. Friends and family are invited to visit at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Memories and condolences can be expressed at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
