SANFORD — Arline Cordeau Moreau, 89, of Sanford, entered into eternal life on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital with her daughters by her side.

Arline was born in Springvale on June 15, 1925 to Archille and Mary (Perreault) Cordeau.

She was preceded in death by; her parents; her three siblings, Lionel Cordeau, Irma Cordeau Morin and Gerard Cordeau; and her son-in-law, Rene LaFrance.

Arline attended Notre Dame Schools and was employed at Nasson College. On Nov. 23, 1946 she married Joseph Maurice Moreau of Sanford and together they shared 48 years of marriage until his death on June 16, 1995. She was a lifelong resident of Sanford and Springvale. The pride and joy of her life were her two daughters, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She was the devoted mother: of Beverly Moreau LaFrance of Wells and Sharon Moreau DelGenio and her husband Stephen of Melrose, Massachusetts; she was the cherished grandmother, of Shawn LaFrance and his wife Missi of Hollis, Kevin LaFrance of Shapleigh and Meaghan DelGenio of Melrose, Massachusetts; and the great-grandmother to Leah, Devin and Cameron LaFrance. They were the light of her life and nothing was more valuable to her than family. She is also survived by: many loving nieces, nephews, good friends and neighbors.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 10 at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church located of Payne Street in Springvale. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the church from 10:15 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be held later in the spring at Notre Dame Cemetery in Springvale.
