BRUNSWICK — The Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick will host an adoption event weekend from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, at the Animal Care Facility, located at 30 Range Road.
Featured for adoption will be several litters of puppies, kittens, rabbits, and adult cats and dogs. Cats 1-year or older are feewaived on both Saturday and Sunday, and for dogs that are 3 years or older, the $ 50 transport fee is waived (the transport fee applies to dogs that were rescued from out of state).
All dogs and cats have been spayed or neutered and are up to date on vaccinations. A preview of the adoptable animals will be posted on Facebook and on the shelter’s website ahead of time at www.coastalhumanesociety.org.
A special offer has been made for those who don’t have transportation to get to Range Road in Brunswick. Fore Cities Taxi of Freeport owner Lori- Suzanne Dell has offered up her taxi to pet adopters for both days of the event. Call 450-5369 to schedule a ride.
