SPRINGVALE — Beverly E. Hamilton, 71, of Springvale, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford.
She was born in Sanford on July 4, 1943, a daughter of the late George and Irene (Stackpole) Roberts.
She was a dedicated worker at Reny’s in Wells for more than10 years. She enjoyed playing online games, was an avid Patriots fan, and she also loved being with her cat Rocky. She enjoyed crime shows, especially reading Stephen King books. She loved spending time with family as much as she could. She will always be loved and missed dearly.
She is preceded in death by: her loving husband of 24 years, Raymond Hamilton, who passed away on March 3, 2014; as well as her daughter, Rhoda.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle, Joanne, Michael, Juliette, Roxanne, Roland and Rebecca; grandchildren, Shutan, Jessica, Kurtis, Samantha, Patrick, and Greyson; sisters, Brenda Powers, and Linda Roberts Kreideras; as well as several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
It was her request that there be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at 10 a.m. at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale.
