KENNEBUNK — Donald W. Delisle, 70, of Kennebunk, passed away at Gosnell House April 4, 2015, after a brief illness, surrounded by his daughters, Donna and Shannon.

Donald was a chemical engineer in the U.S. Army, and golden glove boxer in Washington St. He enjoyed cooking, country music, and John Wayne movies.

He was a also member of Saco Eagles and Arundel Eagles.

Donald is preceded in death by: both his parents, Addie and Delore Delisle; and his sister, Nancy Bardsley.

He is survived by: daughter, Donna Sheldon and husband Mark of North Carolina; daughter, Lisa Woolard and husband Ronnie of Missouri; son, Donald Delisle II and wife Theresa of Missouri; daughter, Shannon Harris and husband Will of Dayton; son, Bill Delisle of Biddeford; among other children, several nieces, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life with close friends and family to be announced by the family.
