SKOWHEGAN — Corbin Academy is writing a bi-annual book titled “Sixteen Counties.” The school aims to bring Maine’s diverse past into the spotlight through interviews and research, according to a news release from the school.
The book will include interviews, recipes, pictures and more on subjects such as past trades, agriculture, textile mills etc., obtained from retired Maine residents, according to a news release. Corbin students and staff hope this will be published by June of this year.
