BIDDEFORD — Gerard R. “Jerry” Boudreau, age 80, beloved husband of Dorothy L. (Underwood) Boudreau, died Saturday at the Palm Center in Chelmsford, Massachusetts after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Biddeford on Oct. 2, 1934, a son of the late Lucien and Yvonne (Binnette) Boudreau, and lived in Maine before moving to Waltham, Massachusetts and then to Billerica, Massachusetts in 1964.

Mr. Boudreau proudly served in the National Guard and was a distributor for the HP Hood Company for many years.

He was a life member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and a communicant of St. Theresa Church in Billerica.

Besides his wife, he is survived by: one son, Michael G. Boudreau and his companion LeighAnn Harrington of Derry, New Hampshire; one daughter, Kristine Wiggins and her husband Dale of Billerica, Massachusetts; two brothers, Raymond and Jean Paul Boudreau; one sister, Joan King; and two grandchildren, Bradon and Jacob Boudreau. He was the brother of the late Reynald, Richard and Norman Boudreau and the late Dorothy Gamston.

There will be a funeral Wednesday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Road., Billerica, MA at 9:30 a.m.

A funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church in Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4”“7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, E. Chelmsford. The funeral director is Dean M. Laurendeau.
