Literacy Volunteers of Greater Sanford announces a tutor training for new volunteer tutors. Training sessions are free of charge.
The training prepares volunteers who want to tutor adults in reading, writing, math or computing. It includes an online segment to be completed independently and a required group session. The group session will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, May 1, at the Literacy Volunteers office at 883 Main St., Suite 4 in Sanford. Pre-registration is required.
