On March 12, Sen. Ron Collins, R-York, welcomed the girls varsity basketball team from Wells High School to the State House. Collins recognized the basketball team on the Senate floor that morning for their hard work and dedication in raising awareness for breast cancer. The young ladies raise awareness by participating in “Shootin’ for a Cure,” in which they raise money to help find a cure for breast cancer.
