HENNIKER, N.H. — The Maine Maritime Academy women’s lacrosse team fell in its regular-season finale, 17-6, to New England College in North Atlantic Conference play on Saturday.
New England College jumped out to a 4-0 lead, and after MMA got on the board, the Pilgrims reeled off seven more tallies for an 11-1 lead.
Former Freeport High School standout Ally Fuehrer ended the Pilgrims’ run to get the Mariners on the board, but New England College was tough down the stretch.
Fuehrer finished with one goal and one assist.
The loss dropped the Mariners to 2-10 overall, 2-6 in NAC action.
