MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Collaboration takes place when individuals or groups work together toward a common purpose to achieve a business benefit. The Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber has a history of collaborating with other chambers in our “neighborhood.” Our finest example is now in its third year.

We are collaborating with the Greater Freeport Chamber to create an opportunity that will benefit business owners, managers and their employees. It is our B 2 B Marketplace, which takes place Tuesday, April 28, from 1-5 p.m. The event is sponsored by General Dynamics Bath Iron Works and takes place at Coastal Performance Training Center, 14 Thomas Point Road, Brunswick.

ThisB2BMarketplacecarriesona tradition of providing a direct benefit of chamber membership, that of building strategic partnerships and growing businesses. Exhibitors will show off their products and services, create brand awareness, demonstrate their services and products, and even have some products for sale.

All businesspeople are welcome to attendtheB2BMarketplaceandtheonly price of admission is a business card.

Attendees will have plenty of time to visit each exhibit, check it off on their “passport” and be eligible for a prize of two tickets on the Amtrak Downeaster (donated by Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority) and a JOOS solar charger (donated by ReVision Energy). This type of networking provides plenty of time for face-to-face interactions, discussions and the making of future appointments. Attendees will gain information on and find products and services to bring success to their business.
