Coach’s outlook: The Tigers return six starters from a year ago including their top two pitchers Nate Huot and Brady Crepeau. Huot was the SMAA Most Valuable Pitcher last year, and Brady Crepeau was a league all-star. Joey Curit and Casey Twomey will do the catching, Twomey will also have considerable time at third base and pitcher. Rounding out the infield will be Kerry Crepeau, Sam Collins and Huot and Brady Crepeau will split time at first. The outfield will be led by Dominick Day and Nick Conley. The Tigers expect to compete with the top teams in the league and make a good run into the playoffs.
Kennebunk Rams
Coach/Years: Brian Dill (30th year)
Last Year’s Results: 10-7 (lost Western Class A prelims)

Coach’s Outlook: We should be pretty competitive if we can find a couple of pitchers to give us effective innings. Lary and Aiken should be able to keep us in all games. Richard is a four-year starter behind the plate. Along with Lary, Heikkinen, Wiggins, Coughlan, Platt and Dubois our offense can be very productive.
Massabesic Mustangs
Coach/Years: Leon Renaud (1st year)

Coach’s outlook: The Mustangs will look to keep games close with solid pitching and good defense. Offensively we will look to keep the pressure on with good team speed. Our team is built on a never give up attitude that will pay dividends in close games.
Old Orchard Beach Seagulls

Sanford Spartans

Coach’s outlook: With the core of the team returning from a playoff team of a year ago, the Spartans are hoping to build on last year for continued improvement. The bulk of the pitching was done by returning seniors Wambolt and Michetti. Along with Veino, Revisi, and Chase, the Spartans hope to compete in the SMAA. The key to the Spartans is to improve offensively. The Spartans struggled at times to score runs so this area must be improved for the Spartans to be successful.
Thornton Academy Golden Trojans
Coach/Years: Ray Petit (5th year)
Last Year’s Results: 8-7-1 (lost to Cheverus in Western Class A prelims)
Key Returners: Brandon Hall catcher, Evan Balzano 1B/P, Ben Lambert inf./P, Coner Purvis inf./P, Mitch Jacques 3B, Justin Cloutier
Key Newcomers: Nate Glaude, Andrew Coleman, Jake Hale, Tourner Moseley, Deven Ruel, Dandre Morgan, Josh LePauloue.

Coach’s Outlook: Should be good on defense but it will be hard to replace Evan Wright (centerfielder) and Ryder Kenney at shortstop, both one of the leagues best on defense. Fair on offense with the loss of Drew Gelinas’ bat and on the mound Drew will be missed as well.
Wells Warriors
Coach/Years: Todd Day (3rd year)

Coach’s outlook: As long as the pitching staff develops, we should be a contender in the WMC. We return seven starters, a solid defense an improved offense as well as three promising freshman ready to contribute.
