BIDDEFORD — Norman P. Boisvert, 84, of Biddeford died Monday, April 27, 2015 at Huntington Common in Kennebunk.

He was born in Biddeford on Jan. 10, 1931, the son of Arsene and Clara Gagne Boisvert. He was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from the former St. Louis High School with the class of 1949.

Norman served his country during the Korean War. After being discharged, he graduated from Bentley School of Accounting and Finance in Boston.

On Sept. 20, 1958 he married Louise Littlefield in St. Monica’s Church in Kennebunk. She died in 1997.

Mr. Boisvert worked as an accountant for the Ratheon Corp. in Waltham, Massachusetts, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Biddeford-Saco Elks, the Catholic Order of Forresters and the St. Louis Alumni Association. He enjoyed playing pool, 10 pin bowling, spending time at his Sebago Lake Condo and driving his Cadillac.

He is survived by: a daughter, Donna Woodard and her husband Glen of New Durham, New Hampshire; two sons, Brian P. Boisvert of Leominster, Massachusetts, and Michael R. Boisvert and his wife Heather of Sudbury, Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Nicholas Woodard, Garrett Woodard, Jacob Woodard, Mathew Boisvert and Mikayla Boisvert; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford.

Services in Acton, Massachusetts will be with Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave., Acton, MA 01720. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Acton, Massachusetts.
